  Lovely place to take the family or have a great evening out with friends. Overlooking the cricket green and lots of outside space to enjoy in the summer. Food is superb and portions are probably a bit big but hey... Better that way..... Cracking selection of beers and lagers and the wine menu is more than adequate. 5 stars easy.

  Fighting our way through floods and driving rain, the 1st Sunday of 2016, we were thoroughly grateful for the Cricketers' Arms, when we stopped for lunch. Though fully booked we were welcomed, fed and watered and off on our way again.
  Food was ample, freshly prepared, reasonably priced and made no pretensions to being a gastro-pub. Beers good and well cared for, wines adequate.
